This is my second pair of Danner work boots.... and I'm a retired guy. I have foot issues. MY left foot has a collapsed arch, and I got tired of wearing sport shoes all day long. I wanted shoes that could go all day without pain. The Danner boots offer all around the ankle support. I had to go into a store to buy the first pair because I wanted to be sure they were okay, instead of just having to send them back... because most shoes i try on don't fit me correctly. My first Danners were the Moc Toe Lux model 31660 in size 11 regular. For the second pair, I went to Amazon for another pair of Danners, knowing that the size was right, and I got the model 15577 "wheat" color. They're almost identical to the first pair except that the Lux model is made from buckskin. Initially, I was afraid that the regular "D" width would be too wide, but they're not. MY street shoe size is 11 C, and I'm very comfortable in these shoes.
