I began long distance running at the beginning of 2017. I always ran 5k, or 10K, tops. But, I signed up for a half marathon, and it went okay. But, I experienced knee pains, and other muscle pains that I had never felt before. After reading up on it, I figured it must have been the shoes. Turns out, I am an over pronator..something I did not know, or cared to know, before the half marathon. A buddy of mine had the Brooks GTS 16 and suggested I get them. I bought them, and instantly, I could feel the difference. My stride was better, poster improved and pace came down. More importantly, knee pain went away. I ran the 2017 Chicago Marathon with these shoes and still use them today, though in limited capacity since I have logged over 350 miles with them. Even after so many miles, they still look and feel good. These are great shoes and durable. Highly recommend them.
