I wanted a pair of black casual boots, and having already owned several other pairs of Josef Seibel footwear I was confident that these would be good. Ideally I wanted something more akin to the Chance 43 boots but in black, but this pair are a worthwhile alternative - chunky, but not too heavy, and comfortable... although I suspect that I'm going to find them too warm during the summer months!The side zip fastening means that they're relatively easy to get on - although it's a bit of a tight squeeze, necessitating a bit of pulling and wriggling.
