I really like these shoes. Sure, they scuff up a bit, but nothing a little polish can't address. These are very comfortable shoes for wearing all day. They look great and the quality is very nice. I suspect they will last for awhile. They only thing I noticed is the sole material is fairly soft rubber. While this aids in comfort, I can see it wearing out faster over time, while the rest of the shoe holds up.I listened to the recommended suggestions on getting a half size smaller. I will say, I almost regretted not getting the wide version, as out of the box they felt too snug on the width, while being just fine in length. After about a week or so they finally broke in and stretched out along the toes. So in retrospect, getting the wider pair would have maybe been the wrong route, as they are perfect now. Just hang in there if they are a tad snug. Unless you have an established/known wide foot, get the standard size. Remember to consider getting a half size smaller too. Just an FYI.Every year I get one new pair of Clarks. It seems to be the only brand in this price range that holds up a to a year (300+ days) of daily casual wear. I have a wide foot and walk on the outsides of my feet. I order the exact same size every time (10.5 Wide). This shoe is loose/sloppy this time so I was a little surprised that their measurement had changed but it wasn't enough to wrestle with returns as (i) it's wearable, and (ii) I was afraid that a smaller size would be their traditional sizing and end up too small and I would get caught in a cycle of returning and trying for longer than my attention span could handle.I have wide feet and have worn size 10EE for more than 30 years. But times have changed and the sizing process for shoes these days is often a crock. I have been looking for months for good quality shoes with and accurate width. Most 10EE's are too narrow or me to get my foot into. FINALLY, I've found these Clark's oxfords and the sizing is actually what it says it is. I followed the recommendations in the reviews and purchased size 9EEE's (thinking they would be too small) but found they were spot on. I love 'em. Quality, comfort, good price. If you have trouble getting wide shoes that fit, you should try these oxfords by Clark's. All that remains to be seen is how they hold up but, so far, they give every indication they will be durable.Update: I've had these shoes for almost 2 years at this point and they are holding up very well both externally and internally. After fully breaking in, they are extremely comfortable.4 stars just because it doesn't come in 7.5 wide. Runs a little big - normally I wear size 8 wide but those were too big. Ordered 7.5 but it's not available in wide. So, when they arrived, they were too tight across the foot but fortunately they broke in relatively nicely after a few days. Goes well with khakis and jeans.Normally, I can buy Clark shoes for my husband and son without worrying about size. This model, however, is already proving to be at least 1 1/2 sizes too large. I have sent back three pairs already between the two of them trying to find the right fit. Not sure why this model is so different. The shoe is well made, they are certainly not inexpensive, but the sizing is not working so far. Hope the fourth pair is the charm for at least one of them. The shoes arrived on time and packaging was great. What I liked the most was trying the shoe on for the first time as the comfort was amazing! I really liked the light, comfort as I slipped on the shoe. Even if the shoe was already laced which turned out to be great in my case as even the lacing looked very pristine and clean. Still, the shoes' comfort was very good and the looks were very good. Bottom line, I have had these shoes for about a week now and they look and feel great. Very light, energetic, comfortable and a very good looking shoe. Clarks you are the best.I've worn Clarks exclusively for work for the last 6-7 years. I absolutely love them, but the local store does not stock much anymore so I order them from Amazon. I saw all of the reviews about this model running large, but since I'm so familiar with Clarks and know what size I wear, I just ordered the same size I normally do.I should have trusted the reviews.I normally wear 11.5 2E in Clarks (unstructured line). I put these on and they are AT LEAST a full size, maybe 1.5 sizes, too big. They were like clown shoes. Additionally, the lining was cloth where I was expecting them to have the leather lining (partially my fault, I saw insole and assumed the rest was leather). They felt like a decent shoe, but were just way too big and did not have the lining I like so I returned them.I've been buying these shoes for the past 6 years or so, I get new ones every 2 years. I work in the construction sector, so you can imagine what they go through. What I like most of these shoes is that they are weightless, when walking you feel as if you were barefoot. After a few weeks the shoes shape is the same as your foot, so with time they just get more and more confortable. For last I would like to add, that they have a great design that is in my opinion timeless. These shoes fit well, my feet are slightly on the wide side. Very pleased with the look and finish of the shoes they are exactly as the manufacturers photos show. The blue colour is subtle, the stitching is good with no flaws that I have detected. The sole is fine but the tread is not deep or designed for rugged walking more for about the house or town. Definitely a smart casual pair that I look forward to wearing for a long time.I was a bit nervous about buying shoes over the net, as I often find that shoes tend to rub in the wrong places- I seem to have 'oversized heels' as far as many manufacturers are concerned! But these shoes are easily the most comfortable new shoes I've ever bought- they fit like I've been wearing them for weeks without any rubbing at all, and a cushioned but not bouncy sole.I'm a retail security guard, and despite these not being 'uniform compliant' (will be ordering a pair in black), they are very comfortable for a 10 hour shift- spent entirely on my feet except for short breaks. Appear well made and lightweight too.very comfortable shoes and, as ypou would expect from Clarks, really good quality too and a lovely shade of blue so prefect for casual weekends. Would defintely buy again.really nice shoes. comfortable, quite light , generous width. very pleased,Perfect fit. Smart casual with a slightly wider fit
