I was at a restaurant with a friend who was wearing a green Columbia rain jacket that was 5 or 6 years old. It still looked new except for a splash of paint on it. He said he used it in the coldest weather with great effect and on warmer days to stay cool. I have many jackets but am always wondering which one to wear. This jacket answers the "which one" question. I got the "metal" colored one as it was less expensive than the green one. Good choice as I have had many compliments on the color and found the color is more neutral with clothes regardless of colors. I like all the features of the jacket. I opted for the XXL size because I wanted a looser fitting jacket. One can make it tighter at the bottom so wind won't leak in ... a great feature. The cuffs are Velcro and can be made tight or loose for comfort. I wish the Velcro extended just a tad further so the ends wouldn't stick out as much. Otherwise, I love the jacket and it's quality. You will enjoy this jacket for a long time. It is of superior quality from a great company.
