This is a very well made shoe and the style is second to none. I own about five pairs of Allen Edmonds but also several other brands i.e. Johnston& Murphy, Cole Haan & Sebago etc. The leather on this shoe is not the same as the Cronmok line which are buttery soft. This leather is not hard but firm and will also stand the test of time. The shoe is also fully recraftable and this makes it a winner!As another reviewer mentioned the leather is not to stiff or to soft... just right. I used the orange laces with it and the shoes look spectacular. With proper care I can see myself getting years of use out of these shoes. Will be definetly by another pair. They fit true to size. Make sure to get a shoe insert to help them keep their beautiful form.Ordered a 10.5 to match my Neumok's. They're a little too long. I'm hoping breaking them in/wearing different socks make them more comfortableperfect fit and very comfortable
