Merrell has been producing great shoes for over a decade. The last few years I personally feel as though their quality assurance and attention to detail has fallen off. These however are a solid entry level hiking shoe. My only two complaint were the lack of insole padding which I replaced after the first hike and the over all length of the shoe strings. Outside of those details, I love them and use them for powerlifting as well. I height recommend putting in a quality insole for foot comfort.The shoes are great. My only complaint is that the laces are exceedingly long to where with a regular knot the laces almost touch the ground on each side. It was tough to find a similar orange colored no tie lace that matches the shoes.These shoes look so cool. The blue, yellow and orange colors really work. They are so comfortable, I can wear them all day and they feel so good on my feet the whole time. decent arch support. These are well made, very durable shoes. If I had one complaint, the shoelaces are way too long. I trimmed them and tuck them in while wearing the shoes. Makes for a very clean look. I liked them so much, I bought a pair of the black oes too.Ive owned these for 6 months, and they are very well made. Warm, keep my feet dry. Great traction for hiking. Very nice and strong laces. They have a pretty solid soul, so they don't flex much, which gives very good support over uneven terrain. I added a nice comfy foot bed, and they are great. Little less so without the extra foot bed though.Real like these shoes. Fit and feel greatGreat everyday shoe for kicking around. Comfy thoughThey feel comfy, but as said before the heel feels loose when walking. The padding material inside the top of the heel just disintegrates because it rubs up and down when walking... leading to blisters on each heel... returning.My normal shoe size is EU 43. This is a 44.5 and still too small. Hoping the next size up will fit.Couldn’t be happier! I have had these a few months now and they are my daily trainer. No signs of excessive wear and they are still comfortable. Couldn’t be happier and I will buy again.
