Really well made winter boot. Cushy and solidly built. I bought up 1/2 size like the manufacturer suggested for thick sock use. Also, their chart shows EU size 42 = US 9 rather than the usual 42 =8.5 so there's part of it. I think I figured out why so many people find the sizing too small. The insoles are oversized for the boot. Before I even put it on I was pulling out the packing and felt the insoles bunched up in the toes and heels. Still tried them on and, sure enough, crowded. Trimmed back the insole so it fit flat inside the boot, problem solved, fit awesome. After wearing them for a little while I can tell there is no way my feet will ever feel cold out here in the Colorado winter.
