I bought these boots online from Amazon, largely based upon the recommendations in the other reviews. I wanted good, protective, and comfortable boots for long distance riding, and boots that were not too hot in the summer. Honestly, I expected to try them on as I had other boots, and then return them when they were too small or tight.Now, having ridden with them for some time, I feel qualified to say that the Solution Air Boot lives up to the recommendations of others. The boot is well made, with a good gear lever protection area, good ventilation (In warm weather I can really feel the air keeping my feet cool), they look good, and they feel good. I ordered to my normal size, and the wide fitting, and they are super comfortable.Size wise, they may be a little large, which causes no discomfort, but does mean I have had to change the way I change gear to accomodate the longer length, however, this is a minor inconvenience given the other great features on the boot.Favourite of mine, is the way that when the boot is open there is plenty of space to get your foot into it, and then there is a good zip which is secured to the velcro at the top with it's own velcro tab. This isn't unzipping accidentally one little bit. The main flap over the zip is secured with a generous amount of velcro, and makes the boot very secure.Okay... this isn't really a sport rider's flashy boot with lots of labels all over it, but for a great fitting, comfortable, cool in summer boot, I don't think that this boot can be bettered for the price.
