Been looking for a nice chukka for a while and purchased a few pairs online in the $80 price range but once they arrived, the quality and material was lacking. I decided to try these more expensive kickers and they are worth the extra $. Aesthetically pleasing, nice low profile design, quality looking shoe with good materials and the finish is great. My pair arrived without any loose stitching or visible defects.Fit is true to size. I'm a shade over size 12, but usually just order 12 and deal with a break in period but these were comfortable immediately.Thin sole and heel, perfect for tall guys if you don't want the added heightI hope Kickers will continue making these if I want to buy another pair in the future once these wear out.Best. Chukka. Ever.So I've gone through several chukka style boots of varying quality/style. These are the only ones that really hit the mark with me. I really like how the heel is not too large. More of a fancy bootshoe.As far as office, dining out, and even weekends out they are very durable. I've had one pair for almost a year and the only wear that's visible is on the bottom of the toe.This is a kind of chukka I have been long looking for; a shoe with a very low heal. In this case i would say there is literally no heal. I loved the quality of leather too. Its very soft and flexible. The shoe is also very light. I just hope Kickers keep making this style as I am certain I will be buying more as i wear this out.
