Been wearing this brand of boots for 4 years now, and they never let me down. Please note that these boots are probably the lightest example of “boots” possible before they should be labeled as shoes. They’re very lightweight and airy. For someone that wears them every day, their usual lifespan is around a year and a half. Yes, this is my third pair in four years. They’re not the most reliable and durable shoes, hence why you can barely even call them boots. I love them for their comfort though. For someone that was stuck wearing boots bought from Walmart for the past 3 months, finally putting a new pair of these on was literal bliss. My only gripe this time around was that I paid a little extra for a pair with the Black Metal color scheme, yet I received regular black instead. And the box was pretty beat up for some reason.I bought these because I wanted to make my girlfriend jealous. She saw them on the female agent in the movie Sicario and I thought they looked familiar. When I looked them up on Google, I noticed that Will Smith had also worn them in I Am Legend. No wonder they looked familiar. So I purchased them. Amazon Prime shipping was of no use for two-day shipping so I forgot that I ordered them until they arrived yesterday. When I opened the package and saw them, I was impressed with the look even more now that I could see them in person. They are a bit more green than the olive you see in the photo(s) here but that's okay. I think I'll order the lighter versions if I want a more subtle color. I put them on right away and I must say, they are comfortable. I wore them for about 6 hours yesterday while I was at the office. I wasn't standing the entire time but they were comfortable when I was. I wore them again today because I want to give them a full day to show me how comfortable they are. The canvas has enough give without any uncomfortable sewing that places pressure where the boot bends with your foot. The construction looks very durable but only time will tell. They're lighter than most books and almost as comfortable as tennis shoes. The looks are what's important here though. They'll do just fine for my purpose(s).Looks great, very comfortableOff of pure curiosity I looked these boots up after seeing I am Legend (2007 with Will Smith). I always loved his style in that film. After some research, I came across the Palladium Boots and though the Olive green are not the exact color as in the film, they are very close. I'm always weary of buying sight unseen and not being able to try something out but I took the shot. Simply put, they are outstanding boots in every way. I couldn't be happier. Every time I put them on it's like I'm in a post apocalyptic world full of rabid zombies and I'm the only man left on earth. If in the unlikely event we do run into a end of the world scenario, I wholeheartedly recommend not leaving home without these. From the pure rugged military/utilitarian look to the amazing comfort. They just deliver. Very rugged feel but flex and support are so good, you almost feel like you can take a morning jog in them. I recommend getting a size slightly smaller than your size as the might run slightly larger. The Dark Olive has an amazing look to them and the canvas vibe is so well done. These boots have impressed me so much I am going to be owning a second pair here soon.I recently bought my first pair of Palladium boots, the Pallabrouse baggy in black. Couldn't be happier. The construction is great, with tough, durable canvas uppers, thick but lightweight rubber soles and heavy-duty snaps and stitching. This is a more versatile boot, for people looking for a more fashionable, comfortable boot that still holds up to lots of activity. These fall somewhere on the footwear spectrum between an oldschool sneaker like Converse Chuck Taylors and an army-style boot. Rugged enough to withstand quite bit of abuse but comfortable enough to wear all day. Basic padding in the insole with the added bonus of added arch support, which is uncommon in boots of this style.I was a little concerned about the fit, as I've read quite a few reviews stating that they tend to wear a bit short and narrow, but I was pleased to discover that my pair fit perfectly. I'd say these are quite true to size, so unless you have unusually-shaped feet, order in your usual size with no fear. To cap it off, the price was totally fair for the quality and style of these boots. I wouldn't want to have paid a whole lot more, but considering the prices of a lot of inferior sneakers and similar boots these days, you can't go wrong with Palladiums. I'll definitely be snagging more of these in the future!Great delivery and product .I have a bit of a wide foot and slightly high instep, particularly on my right foot. I bought a half size bigger than normal as they suggest to account for this. The first thing I did after taking a look was to put a decent insole in these, because memory foam, my ass. The insole that comes with them is a flat piece of styrofoam as far as I could tell. I needed a thin insole because of my high instep, but wanted decent arch support, So I shelled out for the Superfeat carbon insoles. The left shoe fits good, the right is still just a hair tight across the instep and their is a seam that runs right across the instep, making it difficult to stretch it. After a fair bit of effort, they are sooo close to fitting how I want. They are pretty comfy shoes and I would recommend them as long as your foot isn't too wide or your instep isn't too high.Came up to small! I’ve had these same boots before these came up way to small. Unless my feet have grown at age 40! Weird…I’ve returned mine.Hey.We regret to inform you that my shoes purchased in March 2017. I have already been advertised due to hidden product defects and replaced at the new in June 2017. They are again damaged. the same manufacturing defect appeared. but it spreads at the seams in the back at the height of the Achilles tendon.I would like to advertise this product and get a new one or exchange it for another.Good quality boots. I bought them for my son he loves them. Very lightweight and comfortableThey look pretty stylish but are uncomfortable on two fronts: if you have wide feet they will rest on the hard rubber edge of the insole. Even that aside, walking in them was very uncomfortable as the fabric on the back buckles in to my achilles tendon when my heel flexes up.Had my eye on theses for a while, amazing light comfortable canvas boots. Great value for just under £50
