Fitting: I bought my normal size, 7.5D that I order all dress shoes in. Given these were loafers, I was a bit worried and thought about sizing .5 down but I didnt. However, they fit and did not have bad heel slip. True to sizeOverall, I got these on a good discount and I was shocked. Allen Edmonds shoes are like a gamble every time you buy them. The QC from AE is highly inconsistent - this was the first AE shoe I bought in many years. To my shock, the leather uppers were in great shape, no visible defects or loose grain. The sole stitching was clean as well, fully in channel and nothing slipped. I was shocked as I could not really find any defects on the shoes. I think this pair was probably a "top 5%" lucky pair! but I am darn happyNice quality AE shoes. They’re not made in the US, but I knew that when I bought them. They look very good.Pretty sure I got the shoes a previous reviewer returned with different colored bottoms. These shoes are great, I don't care if there are tiny holes from the manufacturing process(these are on lots of AE shoes). and I certainly do not care if the bottoms of the soles are different colors, as this will disappear about 30 seconds after I walk outside. What I do mind is buying size 11 and getting 10.5. Come on Amazon.THE GENUINE PRODUCT FITS AND LOOKS GREAT. THEY WERE CORRECT IN TELLING ME TO ORDER 1 SIZE UP. THANKS, JIM MWONDERFUL and ATTRACTIVE FOOTWEAR !!I’ve owned at least 15 pair of Allen Edmonds shoes over the years, so I was particularly disappointed with these. The fit with my usual size (11.5 EEE) was uncomfortably tight (length and width) and the leather seemed thin and far from what I’ve come to expect. I returned them immediately.I’m not sure if these are supposed to be factory seconds or worse but they’re absolutely destroyed. The soles are two different colors, there are gaps between where the heel meets the sole, the stitching on the sole sticks out, and worst of all, someone put a hole in the side of each pair. These should be clearly labeled as worse than factory seconds. I’ve never bought a pair of shoes in such an awful condition.
