I like style and comforOverall, it’s a nice boot. I really recommend you to buy it. It is affordable, confortable. I’m happy with my bootFor my purposes, (I needed a workshoe for my teaching job, where I travel around to teach) these were not the best. The traction was minimal, and since I am in and out of my car in Colorado during the winter these did not seem to be effective. They were super nice looking and very comfortable, but would not allow me to be stable in ice or snow. Probably rain would be fine, so if you live with that more in your climate I would recommend these for a dressy/everyday shoe, but the traction seemed minimal to me for my climate in CO.I bought these shoes for a trip I was taking to Las Vegas with the wife and another couple. We were going to see the Michael Jackson show and wanted to dress a little more fancy than normal, so I need a great dress casual shoe. Normally these types of shoes aren’t comfortable, so I wanted something that I could walk in all night. These shoes fit the bill. Not only did they look nice but they were comfortable. While my wife and the other couple had shoes on that, after a while, had their feet screaming, I was totally fine. I would definitely recommend these.I recently purchased these boots/shoes and I'm very happy with my purchase. I have arthritis in my knees and peripheral neuropathy due to diabetes. Walking can sometimes be difficult. I thought I'd try these because they looked dressy and like they'd provide more support than the comfy Sketchers I've been wearing. Don't get me wrong...I love my Sketchers, but these chukkas provide additional support, while providing soft cushioning and (much to my surprise) are VERY light weight! I've been able to walk better and stand on my feet for longer periods of time. I'm thrilled with my purchase!I've been wearing different types chukka boots for years. And from different manufacturers. This is the second time in recent history that Nunn Bush hit the sweet spot with these boots along with another, earlier pair of suede boots that were forced into early retirement.I may even get another pair.Comfortable. Near-perfect fit. I wear 8.5M to 9M. No struggle getting them on the first time or after. A minimal amount of space to move, but not enough to raise blisters or feel like water leaked into your shoes.Definitely NOT a half-size up or down for me.Not worn in heavy rain/snow yet but boots handle regular rain showers (remember them?) just fine.They look sharp with jeans though much different with pajamas.Very comfortable and true to size.Great looking chukka . I also have Steve Madden but these are so much more comfortable.. The dark brown is just as pictured. I would definitely call these dress /casual .The shoe is extremely comfortable and good looking. Unfortunately, by the 2nd month of use, it was already starting to fall apart. Then, by the 4th month, it looked like the pictures. Took it to the cobbler, and they wanted to charge me more than the cost of the shoe to fix it.Perfect fit and comfortable. Also the rubber sole is grippy and non slip.
