These sandals fit perfectly and comfortably right out of the box. I'd just sent back a comparably priced pair from another company because they felt hard as rocks and couldn't be tightened on the heel, so I wasn't expecting too much with these ECCOs. I was wrong. They feel almost like custom made sandals. Except for a very very slight rub on the top of my left foot, which I'm sure will loosen with a couple hours of use, these are some of the most comfortable sandals I've ever owned (and trust me, that's a long, long, long time). I'm a big fan of sandal wearing and I believe I've got some keepers here. (Also, I ordered a half size smaller than my normal size, and they are spot on.)
