I've owned about 10 pairs of these over the past bunch of years. The ONLY complaint I have is that the sole wears unevenly on the back if you have even a slightly awkward step. I tend to land my steps on the outside back of my shoes, so I always have more wear and tear on those parts of my shoes. Unfortunately, the soles on these seem to wear down much quicker than any other shoe I have. But they are comfortable, look great, have a legendary name, and are well made. And I understand the sole wear part could be largely in part to the way I walk, so I can't blame them solely for that. I'd recommend these for sure. They always last me a good amount of time and look great with all jeans and regular "boot cut" pants. If you don't wear boot cut pants, either prepare to look odd by having pant cuffs that don't cover the top part of these boots or get some. Skinny jeans or tighter pants are not going to work with these. But if you have boot cut jeans and pants, you'll be good to go and very happy with these.Although these are not what I received in the mail, the one I did get are freat. They're Timberlands, black, with a padded collar, and slightly used. Pissed me off pretty bad. They fit perfectly and were comfortable out of the box. I received them the day before hurricane Irma hit Miami, where I live. Im a photojournalist, and ended up at a marina. With all the debri flying about and on the ground these boots were the most protected part of my body.I buy a pair of Timberland boots every 20 years. Rather I need them or not. I just shot a 16d through my last pair, and yes my foot was in it. Bloody Boots would be a great band name by the way.Good product.Nice boots. Run large for meBought as a gift for my husband and he loves them! They fit him perfectly.nice!Loooooove them! Thank you much. It even has the signature tag left onI love them!
