I love this jacket. I bought the men's large, so that I can put a heavy sweater underneath, or even several layers. It great in the rain...I keep it in my car. If I wanted a snugger fit, I would have gone with the women's medium.Everything about the jacket is right on such waterproof, wind proof and enough room for layering. But the sleeve just way too long. I’m 5’6 140 average build ordered size Small mens. Sleeve was 2 inches longer over my wrist makes look weird and sloppy. Tailor it now fits way better.Feels and fits great, color was as advertised, and surprisingly kept me warm for a windbreakerAewsome rain coat ... we just came back from an Alaska cruise and it was the best purchase I made . I’m 6,1”, about 194 pounds, and the large was a little looser than I’d like. But that’s not the reason I returned it. It just didn’t feel like typical North Face quality.Trying it on, I got the feeling The North Face reduced the quality and attention-to-detail of this line of jackets in order to drop the price and make it more price-friendly. It had an almost plastic feel to it and the quality just didn’t seem to be there. I wasn’t impressed with Patagonia either, for many of the same reasons.I ended up with one rain jacket from Columbia, and one from Eddie Bauer, and am quite pleased with both. Each listed for about seventy dollars.I actually thought the jacket was going to be a little different but it is nice and well made. It's just a little heavy for wearing in the summer for rain as I thought it was going to be.Lo bueno: la chaqueta, es de un agradable color azul, Lo Malo: el ajuste es complicado, y no muy bueno, tiene unos hilos para hacer el ajuste, pero esta pésimamente situados, en el interior de la bolsa, lo que los hace poco prácticos e incomodos, al no poder usarlos sin riesgo de enredarte la mano con ellos, hacen que traigas la chaqueta suelta, lo que no la hace muy atractiva. La otra cuestión, es que es una simple cubierta de plástico, muy ligera e impermeable, el agua no entra... y tampoco sale, juntando humedad en el interior, porque el anuncio de que la tela transpirable es mas bien publicidad y el justificante para no poner entretela, ahorrar dinero y ponerte a sudar si cambia el clima o haces algún ejercicio. Conclusion: existen por ahi mejores opciones por el mismo dinero.A varios meses de uso, cumple con lo indicado y yo necesito. Impermeable, rompevientos. En este último mucho mejor que venture o precip de marmot. No se guarda por ende en su propio bolsillo. Y me gusta más los resortes de los puños que el Velcro. Punto negativo, solo tiene dos bolsillos. Mínimo dos más, internos.
