Love the moto-pant style waist closure, stays tight the whole ride. Super sturdy but the weight if the material can get a little warm on hit days.These fit much smaller around the waist then other 34" shorts, the clasp was on its last tooth. They also have NO stretch/flex anywhere in the material. The feel of the material inside was also quite "scratchy", like it would cause rubbing issues over time.The material feels durable, kind of like a boat cover, so that's nice. I wouldn't wear these without leggings underneath, and then they really wouldn't fit in the waist or crotch area.Overall a well made short, but not enough adjustment or give in the material, and not soft on the inside.PNW riding is wet. These shorts are great at keeping the elements out of your seat. Easy to wash the mud off too. I wear a 33-34 in jeans and a 34 in these shorts is perfect.They look good. They are a gift so I hope they fit as comfortable as they look.These seem like very nice quality shorts. Have a old pair of Fox Demo shorts that fit me perfect (as far an length). Wish these very a similar length as the Demo shorts. These were just short of half-knee length on me (6'2"). A bit picky I know but I prefer a short to the bottom of the knee length.I love these shorts! They are awesome protection as well as being well designed and made. I took a branch to the thigh and most shorts would have ripped and I'd have been stabbed. These things are great.
