The Brooks oxford is a well executed mix of style and tradition. The quality of materials and workmanship of the shoe is excellent. The design is very contemporary but retains enough of the traditional look so as to be still readily recognized as an oxford.I have been generally very satisfied with my purchases of Bacco Bucci (this is my third pair within the past 6 months). However, sizing was an issue for me with this model. I previously purchased a boot (Morrow) in size 15M that sported a very similar design and fit me perfectly. So, I got the same size in this and was surprised to note that the shoe was a bit tight at the arch of my foot. In this model, 15W seems like it would have been the right size, in retrospect. Hopefully, the shoe will loosen up a bit with time, and get more comfortable.I realize that between brands there are some sizing differences, but did not think this would have carried over into similar looking models made by the same company. Bacco Bucci loses one star for this; At this price point, this size discrepancy is unacceptable.Other than the above, I have little hesitation in recommending these shoes to anyone who wants to move beyond the traditional cap toe oxford.
