Replaced an old pair that still have a lot of life remaining. Gave the old pair to my teenage son. My old pair did not have the gum type sole. I like the cushy, stable feeling of the gum sole. Very happy with my purchase.The colour was not as expected II love everything about this shoe ! I own at least 10 pairs. These are my first nubuck pair though. These particular ones are very soft. The color is really an oak not the color you see on the picture..They were extremely comfortable, but just too big, so I'm returning them for a half size smaller.I bought this clarks for my brother, he loves it. this is real bang for your buck.I’ve worn Clark’s suede desert boots for year and love them. These shoes are made of polished leather and look very classy. I first wore them on a trip by plane to NYC and I was quite happy with the fit and the comfort.I love the boot, very comfortablegood to GO!!!!!!!Not a bad looking shoe or fit for the price but the leather was starting to dimple or show dents within a very short time. I wore them around the house to test them out and noticed one already had dents in the toe that were not there when I first put the shoe on, but would not come out. Expectations were kinda low on this one anyway but you get what you pay for I suppose though expected a little better quality. I suspect these have very little durability and would not be long before they were looking very worn. I returned them immediately. I have always been a fan of the desert boot... this one not so much.
