These are the most comfortable dress shoes I have ever owned. I ride the train and metro to work so I have to do lots of walking and climbing steps. My knees and feet were taking a beating. I started wearing athletic shoes for the commute and change into dress shoes at work. That helped a little but since I work in a large building with tiled floors, I was still in pain. After hearing my complaints everyday, my wife took me to a Clarks store while we were on vacation. She had always gotten good results from their shoes. I bought a brown pair of these shoes but did not expect them to be much better than other brand named shoes I've owned. However, after wearing them a couple of weeks when I returned home, I was amazed with the comfort. I was able to wear them all day, including the commute, without a problem. I love them so much that I decided to buy a black pair of this style at my local store but they cost more than I paid at the store while on vacation. Thankfully, I was able to find them on Amazon, in the correct width, at a lower price. The shoes arrived as scheduled and fit perfectly. I even walk longer distances now. If you are near a Clarks store, try on a pair to get your correct size a width. Then, find out where you can get the best price and buy a pair. You will not be disappointed!!Man oh man am I torn about these shoes. Prior to these shoes, I wore some bangin' kicks. I would put on some baggy sweat pants, and pull on my Reeboks with the straps. With that outfit, you know you give off that million-dollar vibe. Everytime I would roll up in the club, all the shawties would get low. In short, I was a baller.But then the straps broke off of my shoes because, you know, they were Reeboks. This prompted me to re-evaluate my life, and I decided to get something a little more professional. I asked my super professional boss what he wore to match his pointy hair, and he said 'Clarks'. A few days later, I got these in the mail.These shoes fit exactly as expected, and look fantastic. I have owned them for ~6 months now, and am highly satisfied. When I first received them, I was actually a little worried about them. The top of the back was rubbing just above my heel. You know that one super terrible spot that bad shoes rub blisters into your ankle? Well, this shoe was doing that at first. But after wearing them for 3-4 days, they formed up and now are amazingly comfortable. I've worn them all day, walking around cities and work, and never had foot pain.Now, when I roll up in the club, shawties don't get low. But, hey, I'm hella comfortable.These shoes look great, provide good cushioning and arch support, and seem to be well-made. The shoe length seems to be appropriate for an 11, but I've had trouble getting an ideal width. I originally ordered an 11 W because I have trouble finding regular- width shoes that are not too tight across the toes. The 11 W was way too big for me, so I returned them and ordered the 11M instead. Unfortunately, the 11M is tight enough across the toes that the shoe rubs my smallest toe. Wearing thinner socks helped make them comfortable enough for an entire day. I guess I could try an 11.5M, but I don't feel like doing another return. I'll probably try a shoe stretcher to see if that will do the trick.These shoes are what I have come to expect from Clark's. Comfort, quality, and good looks. I examined each stitch and found not one to be done incorrectly. They fit very well, my wide Fred Flintstone feet are comfy all day with just the right amount of room to wiggle my toes and still not have my foot slide around in them. I walk quite a bit to get to work and these shoes get me there and keep me pain free all day. I have never had a pair of dress shoes do that before.Goodbye Florsheim you stiff uncomfortable blister makers. Hello Clarks wingtip oxford ASAP!I've owned many pairs of Clark shoes that have run from good to excellent. I'd rate this pair in the top 20%. Clark's have managed to retain quite good resilience while reducing the shoe weight and thickness of sole. Good interior cushioning adds to comfort. Leather has a good gloss; will see how it holds up after a year of wear.The perfect shoe! Like other reviews stated there isn't a break in period,just take out of the box and enjoy! I work in a big retail store and I'm walking on concrete all day, these handle the conditions like a champ. No foot pains! Also the shoe vents from the upper heal, the tongue and on both sides of the sole. It's very lightweight and stylish. I received so many compliments on how good the show looks with slacks or jeans (I prefer jeans!) I've only had them a shirt time so I will update the review in a few months, but I would recommend this purchase.I love Clark dress shoes. These are my 5th pair in the past several year, but I had to go a half-size down for this style. Needless to say these are very comfortable and can be worn all day if you have a job that keeps you on your feet all day.Bought these for my son..5 days wearing and says they are fine and comfortable. He always the wore the Kenneth style Clarks so i thought i would change up and get him these..They must be comfortable or he wouldn't keep wearing them and go back to wearing his old Kenneth clarks !!very good!Great Quality and Good Price
