Description
Leather winds around a hardware vamp accent in this dashing moccasin loafer. In 1892, Milton Florsheim began producing shoes in a small factory located in Chicago, Illinois. The first pairs of Florsheim shoes made by Milton and his father, Sigmund, were a remarkable combination of style, comfort and high quality workmanship. This tradition continues today with the Florsheim family's commitment to producing trend-right, high quality footwear. Florsheim shoes are always available in a wide range of sizes and widths.

I walk a few blocks to and from work and was sick of babying leather bottom shoes. I wanted a loafer with a rubber bottom and thought these would be the ticket. I have to say that I am disappointed with the shoes though. I've owned a few pairs of Florsheims and liked them alot - which is why I was back for more. However, the leather on these feels cheap, almost as if it is a thin piece over an inside lining. This makes the shoes soft, but not durable. The color has worn off the sides of the foot and they don't look good. I'm not hard on my shoes at all as I only use them for work and they spend the large majority of the time in an office.Florsheim needs to note the type of leather on their various models of shoes. I've had about 4 pairs and the thickness, etc. of the leather is different on every one. When your buying these online how are you to know this is the cheap thin stuff? For the price, I wouldn't of guessed. I am now back to leather bottoms - even not babying them they last longer then these Saratogas did.
