We had been buying our tape through a local vendor and paying over twice the cost as it is on Amazon. It is a necessity for us since we ship a lot. But it's an expense that can be substantial throughout the year. We have strictly switched to Amazon on our tape purchase and are starting to buy other business related products on Amazon to save money. I hate to take business away from local companies, and tried to get them to price match, or even lower the pricing to us, but they refused. We've had great luck with this Scotch brand tape which ensures that our product will make it to our customer intact.
