Really comfortable, good arch support (something other desert boots don’t have) and I like the thick sole. I might have gone a half size smaller if it was an option, but all in all, I’m happy.I have yet to find a perfect shoe and this one isn't as well. But, it is close. It's a little too tight vertically in the toe box. Another 1/4" of leather and it would be perfect. It could also use a third shoestring eyelet to prevent a little heel slippage. Despite these things, this shoe is wide where it needs to be wide, looks decent and is generally comfortable. If you like crepe soles, try these shoes.great product with great material.I got 2 more other ECCO shoes after this one and love all of them.just be carefull with sizingThe sole has a convex and concave front, which feels like the groove on the slippers. It is not particularly consistent with my feet and is still being adapted. The shoes are no problem, the leather is also very good, there is not much color difference. The color of the shoes on the Amazon website is accurate, and my photo color saturation is high.Update:I ordeted a second pair I love them so much! Very well made pair of boots. Very comfortable. I wear a 38 Birkenstock sandal, so I ordered a 39 and got a perfect fit with socks. The leather insert with arch support comes out easily, but I'll leave it in because it is perfect for me. I'm very happy with my purchase.I have another pair of these in black and I love them! Comfy, cushy sole which is good for gripping in wet or icy situations. And the accent piecing of buff leather at the inside arch really does add support. Too bad this design is no longer made.Good quality shoes. very well made. impressive. These boots will last a looooong time.The sizes are a bit tricky. The first time I got my size they were HUUUUGE. I downsized and they were too tight. But 3rd time was a charm. Good shoes Ecco, keep it up.My husband LOVES these. We had to buy 2 sizes smaller though to get the perfect fit, but the effort was worth it. My husband is evolving from hiking boots to office wear and these were a big hit with him and his colleagues. He says they feel as good as any of his sneakers.
