Would recommend you order a 1/2 size smaller when purchasing this specific Adidas Copa Mundial cleats. You can search the internet for similar size recommendations to order them 1/2 size smaller, unfortunately I didn't so they are a little bigger than expected. My son can wear thicker socks to make up some of the extra space in the toe. Also, the laces are very long and you have to wrap them under the cleat at the mid sole and then tie them. I owned this model of Addidas shoe as a kid and so I purchased the shoe again after recently joining an adult soccer league. This shoe is soft and fits the shape of the foot perfectly to provide very good contact with the soccer ball. The shoe is very comfortable making it a great choice for 90 minutes of soccer. The thin leather composition does not get heavy like other shoes during rainy games and the sole of the shoe can easily be cleaned off with a hose because the shoe dries quickly. A great purchase. I highly recommend this shoe.Fit was perfect. Good traction. Upper is comfortable and responsive. Only downside is they need to be waterproofed with mink oil. Good to play in. The moulded soles work ok but are a bit old-fashioned and very flat by the standards of newer designed boots. I’ve had copa’s for years and thought I’d try these for a change. If you are on the pitch with some tool in coloured boots and you in these, people will know who the real player is. Used for games on both astroturf and artificial grass. Not designed for players with wide feet, [probably] hence the splitting. The material used is clearly not too flexible.In comparison, my Adidas Mundial Team boots lasted four years before the soles / studs became too worn. Best pair I’ve ever owned. Will return to then.
