These shoes look great. I get a lot of compliments and asked about where I got them. However, they are not nearly as durable as they should be.The shoestring, which on a lot of these types of shoes used to be one continuous string, is not. The problem with that is, the string that runs along the outside of the shoe is barely fit into one of the eyes and is not secure. So, after a couple wears the string came out. As far as shoes go, this would be like wearing a suit jacket with the front lapel torn and flapping around. It's a real eyecatcher and looks and feels terrible. I wish I could say that these are great, but mine weren't and I barely wear them because of that.I will also say that the only rate option given for these is "How does the product fit?" That is probably a sign that they don't care about the quality. Maybe I was part of a test run?I'm a huge Frye fan and wear them basically all week long to work. Bought the last pair of these in my size and in the color I wanted, but they are noticeably different. I know the leather isn't always going to look uniform, in fact that is one of the things I love about Frye, but these are too different. Otherwise they were comfortable and the leather quality was incredible. This is just what I get for ordering the last pair of a discontinued style.Much smaller (half a size smaller) than my other Frye dress shoes. Still fits but simply too short. The leather is soft and durable .the size fits well a great transitional shoe to dress casual or just a everyday shoe love themThese shoes are awesome! Needed a pair to replace an old pair of Clark's Wallabee slip-ons. The Fryes are definitely an upgrade with comfortable insoles and stylish, real leather. Even though they're a bit more expensive, you definitely get your money's worth. Will 100% be buying again in the future. My husband loves these! This is his third pair of Frye boat shoesThese shoes weren't comfortable, and for $180 I expect comfort. I returned these, can't recommend. One of my favorites
