These are simple and plain looking shoes, that make up for its simplicity in its quality of leather upper, foot bed and thick leather soles. They are constructed solidly. The shoes I received had marred soles (factory 2nds ?), but completely functional for daily wear. Fantastic shoes from AE!There were a couple minor stitching defects that I would not have expected in a quality shoe like this but, The durability and comfort more than make up for it. I will definitely only be buying Allen Edmonds from now on.
