Frankly, I am amazed how well they work for my active life on Maui. While boardshorts rule the day over here, the need for pockets without excessive material weight is a must for everyday activity. These shorts are very lightweight and they stretch. They do what they say they do. For decades, my active wear was dominated by Arcteryx. But due to supply chain shortages, I suspect, Arcteryx is out of a lot of the items I want for Maui, like shorts. So, I talked to a friend of mine in Kalispell who is a seasoned back country lover, and he recommended these. Spot on. I am so pleased. Highly recommended.
