The quality of these shoes must be going downhill. The first pair I received had the defect in the foot bed liner that made the shoe feel terrible and I had to return them. The second pair I received also had an issue but at least they were wearable. So after wearing them for a day they were totally killing the back of my foot (Achilles Tendon) and the shoes were properly sized. They are so stiff and angled inward at the back. I was working in an uptown office where you keep the shoes on for 11+ hours a day and do a lot of sidewalk and office walking. Just have to tough it out and let it blister and callous then they should get better after a week of torture. I found myself putting stretch bandages on the Achilles Tendon to add some extra padding during the break-in and I also laced/tied the shoes a little looser. I just expected more from this brand and was disappointed. They look great but are so uncomfortable I'd probably never buy again or at least be aware and break them in more slowly.
