The shoes look fantastic on my first day of wearing them.They do make a more pronounced sound when walking on solid surfaces and I think it is because the heel is not level with the sole.See the images where when I am standing erect, there is a gap at the rear of the heel, so the front of the heel is like a see-saw for the foot as I can rock the shoe back and forth on the heel while it’s flat on the ground.I have a pair of Clark’s, and another brand I forgot that have nicer cushioning under the heel inside the shoe.I still like them, but in comparison it loses a star.
