We have five dogs, two of which are over 100 lbs. The amount of poop generated by our four legged family members is impressive to say the least. An overripe bunch of bananas resulted in a plague of fruit flies that would have impressed the great Pharaoh himself. We could not understand why we couldn't get rid of them. Finally, after consulting the great Google gods, we learned that animal feces (aka "poop") draws fruit flies. Long story short, we ordered the Dogipot and no kidding after just a few days, no more fruit flies! And I'm not sure what this says about us, but it's like an Easter egg hunt each time we take the dogs out now, with each of us bragging on how much we found. The convenience of having the bags nearby as well as a place to dispose of the little treasures has resulted in no more poop on our shoes, no more smell, and no more dinner bells for those blasted fruit flies.
