I normally wear size 8. As advised in product description, I ordered one size larger, 9, yet they just fit bear foot, with thick socks, they’d be too tight.Great looking mule. pretty much true to size, my husband is an 8.5 so the 9 was perfect. a wide toe box and high instep. keeping inner soles in place (instead of removing them) and adding his orthotics on top made for a better feeling fit. If this is the first time wearing mules, it takes a day or so to get used to the looser 'slipper style' fit.Definitely worth buying. Enjoy!felt good right out of the box , I am flat footed and this shoe gives excellent support to my feet, this is my first pair of Naots and they are well worth the price they charge if one values good foot comfort, will buy againAs others have noted, make sure to order a size up. Otherwise I love the shoes so far--they stay on well, are very comfortable, and look nice with jeans or slacks. My only reason for not giving five stars is the price, which is a bit on the high side. If they last as long as other reviewers indicate they will definitely prove their value, but I will have to wait and see for myself.**UPDATE 07/06/2015** So I've had these for 10 months, and after a good cleaning and shine they look nearly as good as the day I got them. The sole is still extremely comfortable after lots of time in my feet on them. I also wore them all the way through the winter (I live in the northern edge of the midwest) and they held up very well in the snow, and the tread kept my feet planted even on ice, which is really important as clogs aren't the most stable footwear to begin with. If I could bump my review to 4.5 stars I could. I'll try to check back in after another winter with another update.I wear an 11.5, ordered a 12-12.5 and it was still small. Had to return and order a 13. Additionally, Amazon apparently has the images for two of the color options, (the Grey and Oily Brown Nubuck), swapped. Naot's home website shows them as they truly are. The shoes themselves are well made and comfortable once broken in. Cork insole is a little snug until it conforms to your foot in about a day or two of wearing. Overall I love the shoe, just be sure to order a size to a size and half bigger than what you wear. This is actually my 4th pair of Naot Bjorn shoes. I am a chef and I am on my feet all day. There is never an issue with my feet because of the structure and comfort of these beautiful shoes. I work 12 to 15 hour days on my feet 6 days a week and a pair of these last about 2 years at that rate. I would imagine that if worn normally, they could last for several years. The shoes run small but that is what I expected. I am a 9 to 9.5 or 42 and they generally take me about 1 week for me to "break them in" so that they no longer feel small. In addition, I am also a diabetic. I highly recommend these shoes if you have any issues with your feet. I am convinced that I do not have any issues with my feet because of these shoes. This shoe is well constructed, as well as the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Barr none! This is a well constructed shoe. It is partially leather lined in the interior with a thick cork insole that is comfortable out of the box and will eventually mold to your foot. It fits true to size. I was skeptical about the price before purchasing but after seeing the quality of the sho, I can say they are worth it.Bought 2 pairs-different colors in a size 47(largest offered)which is supposed to be equivalent to North American 14--I usually wear a 13 or 14 dependent on the manufacturer and, as mentioned elsewhere, these are definitely on the tight side.. If a "normal" shoe, I probably would have returned both pairs but since they are a low heel clog style, and well made, and at a terrific sale price, i kept one pair assuming with some wear they would loosen up and get more comfortable.. after a few weeks of wearing them every several days they are getting there--no blisters or bunions- and now getting comfy..i'm optimistic they will become a daily use favorite..When I first put them on ,I wanted to send them back. After a while I realized that these things shouldn't be fitted, like ordinary shoes .They have a foot-bed that needs to be broken in, and after a few weeks they should fit like a glove. My toes sometimes hit the end of the shoe, but if I order a size up they will be too loose. Some footwear is made of such quality , that they need a time to be on your foot, to work like they should..........Don't judge these Bjorn mules too quickly and allow them to grow into your life. They are made very well, and completely by hand.I kid you not, I have been searching for these for about 20 years (at a price that I could justify). I had a pair over 20 years ago that I wore out. I didn't know at the time that they were going to be so hard to find. Anytime I seen them after that they were over $200. Anyway so happy with this purchase, uber comfy and stylish, my favorite shoes!Trying to fit more STARS on the review. ***** This was the best I could do..LOL. I had a pair of Mephisto for nine years. This is a GREAT comparison. I appreciate EXCELLENT QUALITY at a Very Reasonable Price. Colour was BETTER than expected.Thank You Naot.Well built. A little narrow for me. Update. After wearing for a while they did soften and stretch and are very comfortable.
