I am a trail runner, but the summers in AZ are brutal so I decided to buy my first pair of normal running shoes. It just isn’t my cup of tea to run a mountain in the dark with a headlamp. I typically buy the Saucony Exodus for trail running so I figured I would give these a try.Size:For me, they fit as expected. I wear a 12.5 in the Exodus and the 12.5 Ride ISO 2 fits perfectly.Comfort:1-These form well around the heel and arch but the toe box is a little wide. I do have fairly narrow feet (C) though. This is compared to the Exodus. It doesn’t bother me though while running and I have adjusted to this within the first few runs in these shoes.2- The drop in this shoe is perfect for me. I feel that my cadence is faster compared to the exodus that I normally run in. I feel like I have an extra “boost” when running in these.3- The sole of the shoe is comfortable. I experience no foot or knee pain while or after my runs. It takes up the impact on concrete and black top well.5- The shoe felt a little stiff but seems to have broken in after about 12 miles. I don’t feel constricted while running and feel like I have enough flexibility and support for my feet.6- The lacing system is well thought out and really hugs my feet adding to the stability of the shoe.7- They breathe damn well!! I run in the summers in Arizona, outdoors, after the sun goes down. It can still be around 100 degrees at this time. My feet do not feel overheated at all. In fact, when I get home, I have noticed that I don’t instantly rip these off my feet. That really says something.8- These shoes are light! Compared to the Exodus I normally run in, I feel like these shoes are barely there. Others may not feel the same way, but for me I was shocked.Cons:1- The soles, being so soft will pick up debris if you run through rocks and brush during your run. As a trail runner, I never think twice about running through much. With these, I pretty much stick to concrete and black top. If the area you run in has a lot of loose gravel or brush, this shoe isn’t for you. Conclusion:I paid $77 dollars for these as they were on sale and I used some of my credit card rewards points. For that price I am extremely happy with these shoes. My feet and knees feel good after a run and I do not regret my purchase.Within one month the fabric at the back of the heel. Cannot wear with causing a blister. You know the feeling - that twinge of anxiety you get when your favorite running shoe has been replaced by a new model. Happy to say that any concerns I had about the men's Saucony Ride ISO 2 were quickly dispelled after the first week of use. Of course, everyone's experience with running shoes is different, but this is an excellent shoe for me. I have high arches and need a flexible sole with good heel cushioning, and this shoe accommodates both. Also, it has ample room in the toe box, unlike many other running shoe models that seem to have narrowed the toe box space in recent years (e.g. Asics). All in all, this is an excellent running shoe.It is very light. It is great for me for walking and running.Had an issue with shipping that was not the seller’s fault, however the seller did a great job ensuring my satisfaction and working out the shipping issue. Shoes arrived as seller described and feel great. Would recommend purchasing from this sellerI switched from the ISO Guide. I have already put 30 miles on them and like them just the same. My only gripe with the shoe seems to be a problem for most models and that is when you step in any tiny amount of water, it seems to end up right in your toe box no matter what. My ASICS did not do this. My other complaint is that they arrived worn from the seller. My daughter had a car accident and she’s got a really bad leg and I bought these for her to work in because she’s on her feet all day and she says it’s like walking on air compared to her Nikes. We will be purchasing these again for her to work in. Highly recommendGreat fit and quick deliveryI bought these as I'd already had a pair and they are excellent shoes; very comfortable and a great run so worth a backup. Unfortunately, the seller sent me a US 9 rather than the UK 9 I had chosen, so they were too small. Normally a refund is no problem, but they still (over a month later) have not refunded the cost I had to pat for secure return shipping. If the error had been mine, I'd have been happy to pay for this, but it was their picking error so I don't see why I should be out of pocket.TL:DR - great product, rip-off seller. My last 3 pairs of running shoes have been Saucony and I love these. They fit really well and are extremely comfortable. Love the colour, makes them look classy while not boring.Very good support and well made. You won’t have a problem with wear and tear in these.Great fit, comfortable, good value, will buy again after 500 or so miles. I'm not a competitive runner by any stretch so don't see why I need £100+ trainers really.I really don’t know how you could improve these shoes. Ran well over 1000 miles in them with no problems. Light, comfortable and durable. Great for road and track running. I’ve submerged in flooded country lanes, 5k, 10k and half marathons. A quick rinse under the tap and an hour under the radiator and they’re ready to go again. I would highly recommend these shoes. Will not be buying this pair again. Very poor support around the heel and one run on a uneven surface and the mid sole came loose and now moves every run, so will likely have to return them. I noticed someone else had the same issue who left a review.
