it is the same size as the other one i just bought together, but this one is somewhat much larger than the other pair ecco, width is perfect, but its length is really long, i compare with other eccos i have, yeah, this one is longer than the other pair of ecco,the stange is this is a new pair of shoes, but there are few scratches on the top of the right shoes, and there are few folds on the left shoes, i do not believe this is used one, but it is reall weird to see those scratches and folds on one new pair of shoes2014 December 10th:After wearing for a few month, i must say it is really comfortable, and very sharp looking shoes, so i bump it up to 4 star for its comfort and nice looking, good shoe, recommended!I purchased the leather Findlay in clay and the brown . The brown /natural color shoe does not have the extra piece of leather on the instep that is shown on the 199.00 black shoe but the clay color does. I usually wear a 9.5D size. the brown shoe (without the extra piece of leather) is tight in the width but the clay color shoe with the extra piece of leather is fine right out of the box.I visited a Ecco store nearby and found out that Ecco changed the shoe for 2015.I am very fond of Ecco but this was a somewhat sour experience. The shoes are comfortable but, as stated in other reviews, THESE SHOES DO NOT RUN TRUE TO SIZE. Since I am a US 10.5, I thought I would be alright with size 44 but I was mistaken. These seem like an US 11 or 11.5 and the relatively wide foot bed makes it worse. Feels like I'm wearing boots instead of shoes. Please err on the small side when ordering.Incidently, the "mahogany" color was also tricky to match with a belt. It's a very light beige, more peach toned than gold toned.I've been a fan of Ecco shoes for several years, and have been seeking a darker gray Oxford style for some time, so this shoe in clay fit the need well. Based on previous reviews, I understood that the sizing ran big, so I was expecting way too large. Regular size 46 usually takes a few days to 'give' a little to be comfortable for me, but these were great right away. Just a small bit of extra size is perfect for me. I've worn them several times for 10 or more hours without any discomfort.Aside from sizing, the finish and quality are excellent, typical of the Ecco brand.These shoes are about as comfortable as any I've ever owned. The quality is outstanding. Just one warning, which I think has been mentioned by others: the color of the shoes is not accurately reflected in the pictures. These are gray shoes, with maybe a hint of brown. They are an interesting color and are handsome-looking, but if you're looking for brown shoes, you're in the wrong place.I am consistently a U.S. 10.5 (European 44) and these ran long for an advertised 10-10.5. Very comfortable and appear to be well made. Somewhat blah in the designing but i'm on my feet teaching and these work in that role.I have worn Ecco shoes for many years and ALWAYS buy a 44 EU / 10-10.5 US.HOWEVER, this shoe runs big so I purchased my regular 44, tried it on (too big).I then ordered a 43, tried it on (just right - like my normal 44's) and returned the 44 (which perhaps should be a 45?).Amazon was / is great at accommodating the return.Not as euro-styled like their previous lines. The Findley has a broader look that almost borders on clunkyquality like you'd expect from ecco. colour was too light for my taste, but a coating of neatsfoot oil made them a nice darker shade of brown.very light in weight.The shoes are well made; however, they are not black as described by amazon, they are brown. Did not fit the color of my suit (which is black), therefore had to return it back.Very confy and nice looking as well... It's what you expect from Ecco...A little down point not many choice of design.Nice shoes for the price. Not sure I would pay full price for these though. I like the style but the colour is a little bit lighter than the picture. The fit is probably consistent with ecco which for me are wide and big fitting. A fat pair of socks makes them about right!Order arrived very promptly and was as described ... and in perfect condition.Happy with all aspects of this order!
