I have had these boots for about year now. I have hiked trails, walked through plowed up crop fields, pheasant hunted, ice fished, and worked in these boots and they are great. The 8 inch lace up boot offers so much support on your ankles that you could wear these boots for hours and hours with no foot fatigue. They are legitimately water proof. I have walked through and stood in water just to make sure nothing got through. They are not insulated but they are warm. In the summer during work my feet did get super hot and sweaty but that happens with all leather boots. And in the winter I put a pair of wool socks on and never have my feet got cold. The bottoms of the boots look like they have hardly been worn even though I wear them almost every day.They look great. They are waterproof. They are supportive. They are warm. They are comfortable.
