These pants are supposed to be wrinkle free after washing, but that turned out not to be the case. These are the best fitting pants my husband has, they look great on him and he loves the zip pockets.I liked these pants so much that I ordered a second pair in a different color! The fit is near perfect. Velcro on the rear pockets is needed but a little bit of a pain to open with one hand. Deep zip pockets on BOTH hips was a big selling point for me.The way this pant moves goes against an athletic mobile description. The Guide Pro lower leg has so much fabric in the lower leg that it gets in the way especially in the wind and in brush or climbing, and makes it heavy enough to force a permanent and uncomfortable stretch. The stretch does not come back to shape. Wear these pants once, and you've done them in. Buy smaller sizes first and hope the permanent stretch fits you. The amount of sections sewn together in the legs feels bulky and awkward and leave many points of failure. The waist is an inch smaller than their measurements and the length is over an Inch short. The crotch is snug and leaves no room and is the one area that doesn't stretch is any way to get the fabric from crushing you.None of the seams on any of the pants are solid, and the fabric pills easy. The thigh pockets are too wide and too lose to keep things from smacking you or moving about.I CANNOT move without being aware of the bulkiness and awkwardness of this pant.I'm not happy at all, and I currently cannot make time to get to town to return them.Wrangler's ATG are 20$, stretches more and retains shape, has fewer sections with fewer annoying thick seams everywhere, and doesn't feel disgustingly cheap against your skin, and moves with your body as a second skin without being too tight and doesn't get caught on you.The Guide Pro is nothing more than the ATG, but Eddie Bauer wants you to think they are giving you quality rather than just another regular cheap pant at an inflated price.Fix it's problems and it could be an $80 pant.Comfortable, a good buy but not for the lookI’ve owned previous versions of this pant before; always goodGreat for work comfortable and loose fitting. Manufactured well perfect summer pantI purchased these pants for a river boat cruise in Europe later this year. I wear a 32” waist x 31” inseam. Since these pants only come in even size legnths, I purchased a 30” inseam. They were above my ankle - too short. I exchanged them for a 32” inseam and they are perfect. So, I would say they run a tad short. The material s perfect for travel; nice button, flat front pant with zippered pocket inserts inside one front and back pocket. For this price point, they appear to be a good value. I won’t be able to rate their wearability and durability until this fall.Trousers are well made and stylish as well as being hard wearing and practical.
