I love that I can use this paper towels to get up anything and use them to clean my counter tops and bathroom without using a lot of them. Just one does the job, best thing I have gotten.I was not pleased with these paper towels. They do not tear on the perforation. They are about as pliable as a piece of cardboard.Two-ply and sturdy, these bamboo paper towels are top notch!I performed a simple comparison with these and another leading brand of “regular” towels on my countertop. Bambooloo’s are just as absorbent and durable, if not more so. I will frequently use my paper towels multiple times... not an issue for this strong material. These eco friendly sheets are biodegradable, antimicrobial, hypoallergenic, BPA free and sustainably sourced... and they cost nearly 3.5 cents per 5.5” wide sheet! We keep aware of our impact on the environment and make choices and efforts to lessen it, but hypocrisy is unavoidable unless you have sufficient means. Said plainly, we shouldn’t be using paper towels at all! But, we do.We do, however, clean with the paper towels much less often than the cotton rags I wash and reuse. So, paper towels are kind of a luxury in our household...Even though these bamboo towels are over double the price of synthetic leading brands, they are super strong, effective and can be reused a couple times, depending on the job. You can rest easier knowing these are 100% virgin bamboo and from a responsible source. Disposal is also safer. If paper towels are your thing, a staple in your life... Bambooloo’s are an excellent choice....just maybe repurpose the gift wrap ?I rarely use paper towels unless I need to absorb grease, but I was interested to try these paperless towels out. For most washable messes I use cloth towels or fabric scraps in order to reduce tree paper waste and to keep grease and oil soaked material away from the washer. These towels are somewhat better than the cheapest $1 a roll paper towels that I usually buy, and are stronger. They are not quite on par with the pricey, well-known names, but I prefer not to buy those anyhow since I use paper mostly for grease wipe-up.These paper towels are stronger than cheap paper ones, and hold up better to scrubbing force. These are not a type of towel that I would rinse out and reuse after wiping up fruit messes like some of the more expensive paper towels, but they're perfect for wiping my cast iron pans with crisco, and last for many more wipings than other towels. These towels do feel stiff and slightly rough, but I don't want paper towels that feel like kleenex either. I think that these are a nice alternative to paper, I'm quite happy to see a more sustainable alternative to tree paper towels, and I'm pretty satisfied with how well they function for mess wiping.Bambooloo Kitchen Roll, 100% Virgin Bamboo Full Size Paper Towel Rolls, 2 Ply Plus Tree Free Eco Friendly Paper Towels, 120 Food Safe Sheets, Sustainable & Individually Wrapped, 6 Rolls per CartonThe inner roll is far too big for my dispenser. Doesn't tear on perforation easily. Absorption is alright but I much prefer Bounty to these. Definitely not the worst paper towels I have ever used but not worth getting again in my opinionI'm certainly interested in making eco-friendly choices. The problem I have with a product like this is that it's lower quality, which means I end up using more out of the smaller package. The towels themselves are slightly smaller than a single "select a size" paper towel. And they're just not absorbent. It's also a pretty small roll, with a heftier than usual core. This means that I end up using more towels and more rolls for the same tasks. Sure, they're packaged in paper, rather than plastic, but it's a lot of packaging and an inferior product.I have never used bamboo paper towel products so was not sure what to expect. These definitely absorb spills and clean up messes. The only negative is they are very rough and stiff! They don’t wad up as easily as some brands. I like that they are a better choice than some other brands though. They’re also individually wrapped. I wouldn’t have minded if they didn’t wrap them though. It would save on paper.Overall, they are a decent price for bamboo towels. They cleaned up spills and got the job done. Just wish they were softer. These are fine paper towels, and we like that they are environmentally friendly. What I don’t like as much about them is that they are thinner and less absorbent than the paper towels we are used to. We have been using Bounty brand paper towels which are thicker and more heavy duty, and would be more likely to stand up to ringing out and repeated use on an additional mess. These will certainly be put to good use, and again we like the environmental friendliness, but after these rolls we plan to return to our usual brand-name paper towels.Update added 7/16/2020: After going through a couple of these rolls, I thought I would add this update. I have lowered my initial four-star rating to a three-star rating, based upon how much we really don’t care for using these (and I would consider giving this a two star rating, but I am feeling generous, and I do appreciate that they are trying to be environmentally friendly). These are not as pleasant to use as our usual brand-name paper towels. These are a good bit thinner and more fragile. They are less absorbent. When ripping a sheet off of the roll, it tends to rip the sheet instead of ripping on the perforations, frequently resulting in torn pieces of paper towel. These towels tend to fall apart while being used, they are definitely less absorbent, and they just are not as heavy duty as our usual brand name paper towels. These may be a fine choice for you if you are seeking something more environmentally friendly like this, and if you are also willing to accept lesser performance, but I would otherwise not recommend them for you. We will make good use of these remaining paper towels, but look forward to returning to Bounty.
