I needed a new pair of shoes for pickleball because my other ones that I only had for about 6 months were killing my feet (they were good initially but over time got worse). I tried these Skechers Viper Court Elite's and honestly I wasn't thinking about my shoes and how they would perform because of the upcoming matches, and honestly it was toward the end of the day that I thought about them and this is my takeaway: I thought wow, I did not think about my feet at all, no pain or soreness in my feet at all, then I thought I really need to pay attention to what I like about these shoes. I have always had problems with the tongue of a court shoe going to one side or the other and always trying to straighten that out, with these shoes that is obviously not a problem because of the way the shoe is structured. The heel area of the shoes is very durable and solid for the side to side and back and forth movements on the court which I do a lot of and aggressively. The soles are made by goodyear and what a great difference in traction! Now keep in mind I have only had these shoes for a couple weeks but have about 20 hours of playing time with them and so far they deserve 5 stars!
