Bought these for pickleball. Had been playing in Asics running shoes, but did not have the stability I needed. I have now been playing in these shoes for a couple of months and the difference is quite significant. I play very aggressively at a high level and these have been very helpful and I believe they reduce the risk of injury due to sliding within the shoe. Extremely glad I bought these. In full disclosure, I have been running in Asics for about 20 years and have probably bought over 60 pairs of their running shoes so I am a loyal Asics customer.
