I ordered these for my brother—his third pair of Campers and second pair of the Beetle style. He can't say enough good things about the shoes and has said they are the "perfect shoe" for men. No break in period—feel comfortable the moment you put them on. It took him a round of exchanges to get his sizing right with the EU sizing, but found the perfect fit that has been consistent across pairs. He's worn an earlier pair of canvas Beetles through some incredibly rigorous outdoor work and they washed up in the washing machine easily and came out looking like new again—this after he has had them almost a year. He's not easy on them and the two prior pairs are holding up incredibly well. He likes the Beetle style because there is a higher "arch" of material at the back of the shoe that keeps his feet from slipping out of the shoe (he also has the Camper Peu Cami sneaker and it has a lower back that slips more easily—still a great shoe, but he doesn't like the slipping in his active work). This particular pair is very attractive and could be easily worn in an office setting. Seems to straddle casual and slightly more formal well. Looks like the same great construction he's had with other Campers. Highly recommended by my brother who has high standards for comfortable shoes. I might add that my brother is very thrifty about most things, but feels these shoes are worth every penny he paid for them.I absolutely love these shoes. I purchased these specifically for a trip to Italy. I wanted to pack light and bring shoes that work well for both casual and dressy situations, yet remain comfortable after miles of walking. These shoes are extremely light, endlessly comfortable and fashionable. I generally wear a 10.5 in men’s sneakers. I initially bought a UK size 44, which were almost an entire size too big. Amazon took the shoes back without question and I exchanged them for a size 43, which fit extremely well. I would highly recommend purchasing through Amazon wardrobe if you do not know your size in this specific brand.These just arrived today, so a little early to evaluate, but they look great, fit as expected and are very light weight and comfortable after only the first try on. The review would be more informative and beneficial after I get a few miles on them.I will say if they are as good as the Camper Jim model that I have, I'm going to love em'.Can't rate them 5 stars until more wear time so, 4 stars for now.This is my second pair of Beetle Camper Shoes. I put an insert in all my shoes before I put them on. They are extremely lightweight yet constructed of quality materials. They are probably the most comfortable shoes I own. These shoes are made in the shape of your foot rather than attempting to conform to what someone thinks a shoe should look like. I get about two years of hard, nearly every day use out of them and that's seems fine to me.I bought the Dark Brown in my usual size 42 Euro 9M US and they fit perfectly. I usually don't buy fashion sneakers but I liked the quality of leather and shoe design from the picture. Overall very comfortable because the soles are uniquely made which should contribute for them lasting quite a while. I wore them with some jeans and liked how they looked. If you want something different and can withstand the price tag then give them a shot. I recommend with confidence!Love this shoes.Stylish and comfortable but too big.European size is confusing, why not have us size for is buyers.I have long admired other's camper shoes. I bought them for myself to wear at conferences and other semi-formal events where I want to show off some personality and look sharp. They'd also make excellent everyday shoes and when the weather clears up, I'll be tempted to wear them to work on a daily basis.Stylish shoe at a terrific price! Ordered an 11 since no 10.5 was available and my guy says it's a perfect fit. Camper's are usually pretty cha-ching but the seller, Free Time, had them listed at about 50% of normal retail price. Score! Very happy with overall purchase.When they first arrived they looked a bit weird - the front of the shoes were looking rather large compared to 'normal' shoes/trainers - but they were immediately really comfortable. I use them for work where we are required to wear 'smart casual' clothes Mon-Thur and as keen cyclist I have ended up wearing them for cycling as well . It's been over a year and they look almost new despite the wear and tear and I adore them so much I end up polishing them almost weekly . Worth every penny. Any faults ? The tread seemed to wear out rather fast but this is probably because I used them so much ....so over all a ten out of ten from me.its a beautiful shoes however its dangerous as it dose not protect your feet should you step on any small sharp items everything...the outsole is like a sponge ..I guess they had comfortability as priority and they forgot safetythis caused me a small injurycontacted the seller and they told me all shoes are like this and even the car tiere dose not resist broken glass !! i weigh much less than a car !!This shoes are perfect, light, stylish and very comfortable, when they are new they are a little hard but after one week they are perfect. I decided to only buy Camper from now on!Previously I owned only CAT shoos but with my last purchase I was very disappointed as they started to fell apart after 14 days and they did nor replace them (Transporter – Slovenia).Love these shoes, I have been a fan of Camper shoes for quite a few years but this pair are my best yet, they are so comfortable and they're the lightest shoes I have ever owned. It's a shame my size (9) are the most expensive but they were still a little cheaper than buying from Camper. If they last like my other Camper's have I' Lloyd be a very satisfied customer.Had these over six months now size 12 love camper shoes these may look a bit weird but don’t be put off they look great on & better when their worn in very comfortable the only drawback I’ve found is they are a bit wide in the heel section maybe Camper should make the half size
