Very good product. For wingtips I like them better than Allen Edmonds. Massive and heavy. Be careful of the leather soles; slippery when wet.I have recently begun investing in quality shoes. I used to buy whatever was on sale at Macy's (which, by the way, now carries some of the worst shoe brands and lines), and was so disappointed with some of my last purchases that I decided to make a leap of faith. I coworker of mind recommended Florsheim shoes, and I eventually gave them a try. I was amazed. These are solid, well-constructed, beautiful shoes. I purchased my extra wide, which turned out to be a little too big. I wear thicker socks and everything is nice and cozy. The comfort I have with these shoes is frankly unparalleled. I might put in some cushions for added help, but even without they are great for all-day wear.I highly recommend these shoes. This is a quality brand. The Florsheim Imperial was always a better than average shoe back when shoes were made all over the U.S. I saw these in black and thought "uh oh". The Floesheim retailer does not have these and the guy at Florsheim can't tell me who has them. I took a chance on Amazon. The shoes fit just like a 10.5 D is supposed to. Amazing! Stiff, shiny leather. They cut under both ankles and were close around the ball of the foot for a few days just like they were when you could buy them back in the '70's. Preventative bandaid on the left heel for only one day. Two weeks later I have great looking, broken in shoes that actually fit. My feet aren't tired and overworked after walking around the office all day. I only wish they were made in USA. Nevertheless, the shoe has twice the character of the rubberized footwear so commonplace these days. Thank you Amazon for a great price on a real pair of shoes. In my opinion it’s the best shoes money can buy. Dress shoes that is. I have two pair I gave to my son that are still in great shape in 30 years old.I have worn brogues as part of my business attire for many years. When my Canadian-made Dacks finally passed the point of rebuilding I needed a strong replacement for a classic, full-bodied brogue in a traditional wingtip. The Florsheim Kenmoor was it. A great replacement shoe for my needs, the Kenmoor had the structure and sturdiness I had become accustomed to. Florsheim's styling, finish and level of craftmanship is like that of brands costing hundreds of dollars more, and the traditional look of this wigtip brogue is not compromised with attempts to modernize. This shoe is perfect for business and trnaslates well into the casual. While I do wish Florsheim was still making these shoes in the USA I'd buy them again, but I have a feeling I won't need to for many years to come!!The Florsheim Kenmoor Wingtip Oxford dress shoes were best of its kind for many years so I bought two pairs on seeing a 30% discount on Amazon. I had a pair some 20 years ago and I am very glad to own them once again. These new ones were made in India and I noticed that although they are still good shoes, the quality are not as good as I could remember. The edges of the wingtip were not cut cleanly and the stitches were not of highest craftsmanship (minus one star here). Anyways, still happy to wear them, and they do take a bit of time to break in.There is a bit of a break in period with these, but I love them. They look great and feel great. I most likely with get a 2nd pair in another color.I remembered with fondness my old Kenmoores, from a bygone era. Used to owned 2 pairs, a black and a brown. Those were well handcrafted and fit perfectly. Worn them for many years till the sole gave way.Ordered a black Kenmoore recently (not made in the USA), the leather looked 'plasticky' and is way too stiff. Had been trying to 'break in' the shoes for a few weeks now but the new pair continues to remain very stiff, so much so that my metatarsal bones begin to hurt at the end of the workday. The inner stictchings below the 'throat line' were rough and hard. Perhaps not made with with love and care.May try other brands, Allen Edmond or Johnston & Murphys for my next pair soon.Once you break them in, they will be the best shoes that you have ever owned. My last pair were resolved numerous times and last over 15 years. Classic shoes that are worth it!Looks solid, the size 12M fits as expected, properly package, took some time to get here, but likely worth it. Reasonable price point as well.La descripción muy deficiente, ocasiona que compres un zapato que no es lo que necesitabas, tuve que regresarlosGran zapato para trabajar, elegante y resistente. Excelente manufactura y acabado; suelas duraderas y en suma un muy buen zapato. Will probably take a while to break them in.
