Used this for flooring my new basement gym. The width of these rolls is on the money straight. I got 17 ft lengths since these would allow me to go from end-to-end of my gym room along one direction. The 17ft x 4ft rolls were pretty heavy though, anything longer than 15 feet is going to be hard to handle. The ends are not cut straight, they are cut as the roll comes off leaving them slightly angled. So be sure to square your starting edge. Finally, the weight is sufficient that once unrolled and left to rest they go to perfectly flat, I have not seen any reason to glue or tape any edges. This may not be the case if you have smaller sections that can be moved with body movement.
